Bella Blooms

Today's featured flower takes inspiration from our recent visit to the Grand del Mar in San Diego. Susan and I were wowed during our 3 day visit to the property; from the carnival welcome dinner to the tour of all the amazing spaces to host a ceremony and reception to the fabulous sail boat trip aboard the America. The Anemone was a featured flower on all the arrangements throughout the trip, and I had to learn more about them.

I had always thought that the Anemone (which is a poppylike flower from the Ranunculus family) only came in white...boy was I wrong. They come in a multitude of colors and each one is just prettier than the next; pink, red, purple and even blue!

Hope you enjoy these beautiful shots as much as we enjoyed our stay at the Grand del Mar!
