Gilda & Mike ~ Sunset Restaurant

I still remember the first time I 'met' Gilda, it was via a phone call and we immediately had a connection with her vision of her Secret Garden wedding. Gilda has an amazing knack at reading people through el telephono, and thankfully we made the grade. What a fun time we had over the past year and change, we had some major weekend excursions and Mike was a trooper through it all. Here are just a few of the amazing shots that our friend Michelle from MiBelle, Inc captured of the day.

Gilda has an amazing eye for details, and it all started with her trip to SFO to meet the team at Hello Lucky to design the amazing letterpress invites that incorporated her love of all things pink and 'secret gardenesque'.

Check out the amazing floral design provided by none other than our friends Amy & Trisha at Hidden Gardens. The lighting that just made the entire reception pop was by Nathan at LightenUp. As my daughter would say it was just perfectly 'Pinkalicious'.

Can we talk cake....Leslie from Fantasy Frostings outdid herself yet again. We had three amazing flavors, and yes I tried each and every one of them. It's a hazard of the job, but I thought I owed it to Gilda & Mike to taste test and make sure there weren't any problems. Leslie loved the way the cake looked so much that she featured it in her celebrity blog on GetMarried.

Of course the story that you can't see is that we had gale force winds...or that is what it felt like if you were dressed in a beautiful sleeveless white lace gown getting married on Zuma Beach. But the winds and the sky created some of the most amazing beach shots.

Check out some more amazing pics on the MiBelle blog.

A huge thanks to the entire team that made this event super extraordinary:

Venue - Kelly Ann and the entire staff at Sunset Restaurant in Malibu

Lighting - LightenUp, Inc
Linens & Chairs - Elegant Designs

We wish Gilda and Mike a lifetime of the love and happiness that they shared on their wedding day. Thank you for letting us take this journey with you, and be part of the planning process. It was truly an honor.

Love,
The Bella Girls
