Dina & Wendy ~ Figueroa Hotel

As we continue our retrospective look at weddings from 2008, we are so excited to share with you the amazing images from Dina & Wendy's Labor Day celebration. What an amazing 2 year journey with two very special people to plan the perfect wedding!

Here are some of our favorite shots of the day courtesy of MiBelle, Josh and Michelle did an amazing job of capturing the love that made this day possible.

Check out the rings they were rockin.

As two incredibly busy music biz execs, it was always a scheduling feat to get our planning meetings on the calendar. However when it came time to find the perfect entertainers to provide music for their wedding and reception, there was nothing these ladies wouldn't do. They even went so far as to spend over 4 hours on the freeway just to hear the guitarist play. They couldn't have been happier with their choices!

We aren't sure which line was longer...the line for the cupcakes from Vanilla Bake Shop, the made to order specialty coffee by Lattes on Location, or the bar!

Some of Josh's finest work of the evening! :-)

Many thanks to everyone that made this day possible!

Dina & Wendy, we miss you both and wish you a lifetime of the love and happiness you shared on your wedding day. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be part of your special day. Thank you for allowing us to share in your journey.

Jenn & Mark ~ Bel-Air Bay Club

Jenn & Mark were such a fun couple to work with! They met on a Contiki Vacation in Australia and have been travelling all over the world ever since then! Jenn is originally from Southern California, so they chose the gorgeous Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades for their wedding. Check out the view, it was truly the perfect day! Jenn's dress was covered with beading and ruffles and she literally glowed when she put it on.

Jenn & Mark wanted to incorporate their love of travel into the day, so the escort cards were made to look like boarding passes and each table was named after a city they had visited.
We played up the rich brown tones in the room with beautiful Chocolate Chanel Windowpane linens and Gold Bella Fleur chairs with Chocolate Suede cushions.
Jenn & Mark purchased some fun props for the photobooth which made for some really fun photos!
Many thanks to everyone who made this day possible!

Gilda & Mike ~ Sunset Restaurant

I still remember the first time I 'met' Gilda, it was via a phone call and we immediately had a connection with her vision of her Secret Garden wedding. Gilda has an amazing knack at reading people through el telephono, and thankfully we made the grade. What a fun time we had over the past year and change, we had some major weekend excursions and Mike was a trooper through it all. Here are just a few of the amazing shots that our friend Michelle from MiBelle, Inc captured of the day.

Gilda has an amazing eye for details, and it all started with her trip to SFO to meet the team at Hello Lucky to design the amazing letterpress invites that incorporated her love of all things pink and 'secret gardenesque'.

Check out the amazing floral design provided by none other than our friends Amy & Trisha at Hidden Gardens. The lighting that just made the entire reception pop was by Nathan at LightenUp. As my daughter would say it was just perfectly 'Pinkalicious'.

Can we talk cake....Leslie from Fantasy Frostings outdid herself yet again. We had three amazing flavors, and yes I tried each and every one of them. It's a hazard of the job, but I thought I owed it to Gilda & Mike to taste test and make sure there weren't any problems. Leslie loved the way the cake looked so much that she featured it in her celebrity blog on GetMarried.

Of course the story that you can't see is that we had gale force winds...or that is what it felt like if you were dressed in a beautiful sleeveless white lace gown getting married on Zuma Beach. But the winds and the sky created some of the most amazing beach shots.

Check out some more amazing pics on the MiBelle blog.
